Yelpers have some nice things to say about the Las Colinas Detention Facility, but overall, their reviews lack stars.
And while some admit the new San Diego Women’s Jail is a step up from the old facility, those who have spent time at the facility say there is still room for improvement.
“Well this facility is most definitely a step up from the old facility on Cottonwood,” one Yelper wrote, adding that she felt the employees at the check in window are “not pleasant to deal with.” Her overall review? Three stars.
Another woman, who gave the facility a one-star review, said that while she felt she was wrongly arrested, she was happy the one of the corrections officers was kind to her while she was waiting to post San Diego bail bonds.
“[She] was the most kind hearted woman I have ever met. Despite me being wrongly in there (i fell into my boyfriend because i was super-duper drunk and was charged with domestic violence at a karaoke bar while celebrating my birthday) [this officer] is a great lady.”
