A spokesperson for the San Diego Police Department say they are still working to identify a man who robbed a Chase bank in downtown San Diego last week.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a report by the San Diego Union Tribune and he was last seen wearing dark clothing. Witnesses say the suspect had a lazy eye and that he fled the scene on foot.
The incident took place the day after Christmas, police said, when the suspect walked into the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. It’s unclear whether the man was armed.
Police say the suspect is approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and may be in his 40s or 50s. Anyone who believes they have information that could lead to his arrest is asked to call the SDPD tip line.
