The San Diego Sheriff’s Department Imperial Beach station has been busy since the first of the year. These are just a few of the calls that deputies have responded to since the beginning of 2013.
Deputies reportedly arrested a 30 year-old man on Jan. 2 on a felony bench warrant. The man in question was transported to the San Diego Central Jail in downtown San Diego to be booked and processed. His bail information was not immediately available.
The following day, four additional people were arrested in Imperial Beach. The first incident involved a juvenile who was taken into custody and charged with battery. The second involved a 33-year old man who was charged with flash incarceration. The third was a woman in her early 40s who was arrested on a felony bench warrant. She was taken to the Las Colinas Jail to undergo booking. Her charges and bail information were not immediately available. Lastly, a 39-year old man was arrested for driving while under the influence. He was transported to the downtown jail and his bail was set at $2,500.
On Jan. 6, two individuals were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The individuals were transported to jail and their bail was set at $10,000 each. A third individual was also arrested after he was found to be in possession of one ounce or less of marijuana. His bail was also set at $10,000.
