A spokesperson for the San Diego Police Department has confirmed that investigators are trying to determine the identities of a man and a woman who robbed a Pacific Beach-are 7-11 last weekend.
The incident took place just after 5:00am, officers said, at a storefront on Garnet Avenue. Witnesses describe the male suspect as being approximately 25 years old. According to a recent report by Times of San Diego he was wearing a brown and white plaid hoodie at the time the robbery took place.
His accomplice has been described as a Hispanic woman who had a thin build.
Store employees said the man approached the counter, pulled a gun and demanded cash. When the clerk opened the drawer the robber grabbed it and made a run for it.
Police have not said whether the pair escaped on foot or if they made use of a getaway car.
No one was injured during the robbery, authorities said. Anyone who thinks they may have information that could lead to the arrest of these two suspects is asked to call the SDPD tip line.
