The San Diego Police Department Northern Division serves an area spanning 41.3 square miles and provides police services to more than a quarter million people. Officers stationed at the Northern Division patrol areas such as UTC, Torrey Pines, Pacific Beach, Clairemont Mesa, Bay Park Bay Ho, La Jolla, Mission Bay Park and Mission Beach.

Hours: 8am to 4pm Tuesday through Friday. Closed between the house of 11 am to 12pm for lunch. The lobby is also closed Saturday through Monday.

People who are arrested in the areas served by the SDPD Northern Division be transported to either the Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee or the San Diego Central Jail (SDCJ) downtown to be booked and processed. Women are taken to Las Colinas and men are taken to SDCJ.
Residents wishing to have vacation checks and “You Are Not Alone” elderly checks on friends or family members who are alone and/or disabled are invited to contact the Northern Division at the number above to have those requests honored.
Fingerprinting services are no longer available at the Northern Division. Those who need to be fingerprinted are being directed to any number of the Live Scan fingerprinting sites listed on the California Attorney General’s website.
